| Ya know, I'm just not sure how I feel about Xanga anymore. Notes on FB kinda accomplish the same thing, albeit in a more public(in a sense) and more comercial way. This may or may not be the last time I post on here(*ahem* "blog" on here) depending on whether anyone is even on Xanga anymore....because if no one reads it, is it any better than sending yourself an e-mail? or simply typing a note on your own computer just for the sake of getting thing off of your chest? I don't know. I would imagine the answer to that question would vary from person to person. For this particular person, I suppose the inclination would be to simply type a note on FB for public thoughts or discourse, and perhaps simply take a pencil and paper and "journal" (basically a manly name for a diary..lol) for the more personal things. Things better left unsaid in a public forum, things like spiritual questions; failings; successes; ambitions and desires that only God would truly understand; all the things that we think about, but never really get around to figuring out...... Maybe the question of whether to give xanga another chance is one of those things that we "think" about, but never really figure out... So, if you never see me on here again, well then you know what might have happened. And if blogging becomes a regular thing for me, then ya'll best watch out 'cuz I'll prolly talk your "ear" off. peace, Brandon. | | |
| Waaaaaaaazzz Uuuuupp Ya'll !!!!!!!!?? Not sure what to say. It's been so long since I've blogged on here, I'm almost uncomfortable being on here. Uuum I'm doing well, just starting to get into my new job. Kinda weird werkin for someone else as I'm used to being virtually self-employed. I think it's gonna be a challenge but also a blessing of sorts. PS. I'm living in Minneapolis, MN. I'll be coming home(wichita) around april 20th for several days, I am really looking forward to that. "4 mo. is too long away from family". Take it easy, Brandon | | |
| Went and looked at boats today. Good times. I'll have to get some pics up as we're getting a bunch of snow here in Minneapolis. Roads are slick and I'm lovin' it. Went snowmobiling coupla weeks ago and had an amazing time with some old friends and a couple of new one's. Busted the hood on my sled and had to spend $200+ to fix it The dumb thing is I wasn't on the sled at the time and it wasn't moving faster than 2 mph. I guess that nets me the idiot of the trip, but it's all good since we all got a laugh out of it(my laughter was shortly followed by tears but what do you do.?). Maybe I'll explain why I'm in Minneapolis some time ,but for now I need to sleep so I can go to 'The Mall of America' later this morning weather permitting. Take care and God Bless. Brandon | | |
| Hey everybody,I realized that I have been doing a less than adequate job of keepin' ya'll updated about my terribly exciting and adventureous life. So.....Just left Kansas and am in Ohio now werking hard. The last 3 weeks have been alot of fun and very relaxing as I was able to spend time with family and friends back home. I was able to go to the dunes twice during break and had a great time. The first time was with my family and I am still blown away by how crazy yet still in control my sisters are on their ATV's. They are both becoming quite skilled. The second time was our 4th annual men's ride where all the manly men(myself included of course) in our family (uncles and cousins) brave the winter cold(nearly 50 degrees) for 1-2 days of redneck good times in the sand. Happy New Year to every one. Brandon The RED atv landed where you see it after our good friend Jeff rolled it 3 complete revolutions from where everyone is standing. That'll teach him to not hit a 1.5' bump in the middle of a third gear wheelie. Yee Haw!!
Cheap gas in St. Louis. I think I need to move there!
Job site in oHIo.
